SYSTEM FLEXIBILITY. The most obvious and exciting feature of the new 10C transmitter is that it ships with Futabas 2.4GHz TM-10 FASST module and the R6014FS receiver. Unlike the few thirdparty aftermarket 2.4GHz modules that would fit this radio, the TM-10 module features an integral link to the transmitters native digital data stream.

Futaba is shifting itself in two different directions FASSTEST (being the high end setup with 16+2 channels and telemetry) and S-FHSS (being good enough for even large helis if needed), and will make its high end radios compatible with S-FHSS. Also: Apparently people with 10+ year old Futaba radios will get S-FHSS compatibility before 8FG folks.
Transmitter first, followed by the receiver. If the R7006SB receiver was previously linked to another transmitter, make sure that transmitter is not operating while linking the receiver to the new transmitter. Thank you for purchasing a Futaba R7006SBFASSTest-2.4GHz compatible receiver. The R7006SB receiver features bi-directional communication
Other than that it's almost impossible to tell what an unmarked crystal is intended for. E.g. 72-5 is PROBABLY a Futaba AM TX crystal but you still need to know the channel. 62.03 MIGHT signify a DC RX crystal for a channel frequency of 72.730MHz (i.e. with an IF of 10.7MHz).but then again it might not. Steve.

Question Futaba 14SG compatible receivers Radios. Thanks lesterpk, that one looks good. After looking into it further I'll 'need' an SBUS multichannel compatible one so that i dont need to change the transmitter settings on the radio.
Never grasp the transmitter antenna while flying. The transmitter output may drop drastically. Always make sure that all transmitter stick movements operate all servos properly in the model prior to flight. Also, make sure that all switches, etc. function properly as well. If there are any difficulties, do not use the system until all
It has bidirectional communication (transmit on FASSTest protocol), with an external Futaba/Robbe Telemetry box (F1666) that is receiver for FASSTest data and is in use on the transmitter. I have 3 or 4 of these receivers and one such external Telemetry box and have used it since it came out in 2012 or so. XZEF.
