Mensa members: typically high “IQ” losers in Birkenstocks. But the “intelligence” in IQ is determined by academic psychologists (no geniuses) like the “paper trading” we mentionedIt is important to note that the Wechsler IQ test does not measure intelligence in a linear sense but rather in terms of a person’s abilities relative to their same age peers. So, a child with an IQ score of 110 did not perform twice as well on the test as a child who scored 55; they performed better than approximately 75% of individuals of Some intelligence tests don't use IQ scores at all. Mensa has set a percentile as a cutoff to avoid this confusion." IQ does seem to play a role in life success, but is not a guarantee for Most of the abilities measured by an IQ test tend to level off around age 16, so this method does not work for adults. To convert a mentally retarded adult’s IQ into a rough age equivalent, multiply the IQ by 16, and then divide by 100. So an adult with a 50 IQ is functioning at roughly an 8-year-old level.

Took the online abridged Mensa test. Basically it told me that my "iq lies outside the area the test is able to measure". Is this simply a polite way to say I score extremely low? It means you're divergent. Good job. Now hide. Username checks out. Unsure if you are extraordinarily stupid or extraordinarily smart?
People say Einstein had an IQ of 160, and you need an IQ score higher than 130 to join Mensa. But does IQ really measure how intelligent you are?Hosted by: H
