I finished Assassin's Creed 3 and its DLCs with the Gold Edition on PC around a month before the remastered was announced. Since I played on a low end PC, and the optimization is horrible, I played with 13 fps and blurry graphics. Still enjoyed it a lot and even went after every viewpoint and feather.

Assassin's Creed 3 was my first game of the franchise, and I absolutely loved that game. But after playing most of the games of the franchise, I'll have to say that my favorite protagonist is AltaĂŻr. Ezio was a charismatic and funny guy with a good revenge plot in a game that improved everything mechanically from AC1. There was a script of the game with its link on one of those game magazines in 2013, I think the link is non-existent by now. Corey May is an amazing writer and his script for the game just made me to look at Connor and the whole story differently, also, the fact that Connor is a confirmed virgin throughout the AC3 storyline, it made me to look at him differently. After playing the original version side by side for comparison, the Switch version of Assassin's Creed III: Remastered looks and runs almost identically to how it did in 2012. Dated lighting makes environments and textures appear flat and uninteresting. The rough presentation looks especially bad when playing on a TV.

8/10. Summary. Assassin’s Creed Liberation is a fantastic game that is, unfortunately, a little underwhelming when it comes to the visuals. Graphics aside, the rest of the game is a top-notch experience for those yearning for an old-school Assassin’s Creed adventure.
